Slip-Sliding Away!

I love the non-skid shelf paper!  Not for shelf paper, but to keep a lot of things form 'Slip-Sliding Away' from me.  I put my cutting board on a piece of it. Voila it stays in place.

...Even set a wine bottle on it and grip the cork with it.

However, it is not worth a 'darn' as shelf paper.  When you put an item on a shelf covered with this non-skid shelf paper, nothing...I repeat nothing...skids.  You have to pick the item up and set it where you want it.  I'll stick with regular shelf paper.

It's easy to dry out a bottle---

Twist a paper towel insert in the bottle---

in no time 

the paper towel will soak up 

all of the moisture 

in the bottle.

To Chill or Not To Chill?
White Wine: Keep in fridge.  Remove 20 minutes before serving.
Red Wine: Do not keep in fridge. Put in 20 minutes before serving.

Pop the Cork

The three best tools I have to open a bottle of wine.  That is, a wine bottle with a cork!  Although, I am not against buying wine with a screw top.
